Hi Everyone,
My goal is concentrate many diferent file formats (Word files, Excel files, MS Project Files and MS Visio Files) in a common source as a documentation for a project, of course it could be acomplished saving these files in a directory, but I need to store them in a database (SQL Server 7.0 ), so I want to use HTML as a standard format, in order to save charts, gantt chart, excel tables etc all using HTML.
My experience working with TxText control is with RTF, I try to load and save HTML files to my database, and encounter the following problems:
1. When load a HTML file to the TxText control it shows unformatted and/or incomplete
2. However the first problem, I save it to the database using the HTML filter, when I retrieve the file, an error occurs "Error in text filter: Illegal token. (1-1d02)
How good are the capabilities of TxText control managing HTML files? (I don't need complex html files)
Does somebody have had an issue like this?
Any idea, poniting me to the right direction?
