TXW File Size

I have created a document using 8 JEPG images.
Each image is about 140KB. When I save the document its file size is 25MB.
Why is this?
Is there anyway that the document size can be decreased? It is causing major problems for our customers.

Hello Chris

Images will be saved as WMF internally by default. With version 10 you can define in which format the images should be saved. You can use the ImageExportFormat property which determines the format used if an image is saved.
