I am evaluating TX Text Control for use in a report generator tool. I am hoping to use TX Text control and embed ActiveX controls developed in Visual Basic for other types of display. However, I have found some problems that I have not been able to resolve by looking through the documentation and the support forum.
1) Saving to a PDF file with an embedded OLE object raises an error: Number 20058, Description "Unexpected Text Control error. (1-1d09)", Scode -2146808230, Source Tx4ole
2) Saving to an RTF file loses embedded OLE objects. Is this supported?
3) Inserting a Visual Basic form as a window using ObjectInsertAsChar or ObjectInsertAsFixed raises the error "The object is of an unsupported type. (1-2c05)" Is this expected?
Any help would be appreciated.
