Hi,

Today we got a very strange error, and we really need help to solve it quickly. We just released our commercial product, which is about to be mass-produced, and when testing it on a Compaq Presario with win98 SE, we got a very strange error.

We are using tables to separate sections of text in our txtextcontrol. Each table is made of one cell, and contains a single caracter with a font size of 1. The goal is to create a line-like table cell that separates 2 chapters, for example.
Until now, everything was working fine on the various OS we tested, but on the Compaq we get the following error (translated from French, so it may not be the exact English translation) : "The selected text zone is too small to apply formatting changes". After further testing, it seems that the OCX refuses to use a font size of 1 for any selected text, inside or outside the table. If I use a font size of 2, it's ok.
We would have changed the font size to 2 if our product was not already in production.
So we really need to know why some Win98 will accept to use a font size of 1, and others won't (BTW, they all have the "Small Fonts (96 DPI)" option activated in the prefs).

Thank you very much for your help !

Regards,
