Hello,

I know it's an old topic which has been raised many times before, but I'd like to check up on the status of the proposal to include section break functionality in TextControl. Specifically I'm interested in the following functionality;

- Different header/footers in different section of the same document
- Different page layout/margin settings specified in different sections
- Printing portrait or landscape in different sections

We've been informing our clients for over two years now that you are aware of the desire for this functionality and that you have it on your list of things to implement. We are now at the point where our clients are losing patience with this response and are pushing us for a more firm answer on when (if ever) it might be delivered.

Could you please give us an indication the priority which you are placing on implementing this functionality so at least we can give our clients a realistic response?

Thanks
Mark

Hello Mark

Thank you very much for your thoughts.

Section breaks are definitely on the wishlist. Some other features (for example the implemented features in version 10 of TX Text Control) have been requested more frequently. Anyway, I am afraid that I am currently not able to announce such a feature for the next version of TX.

We also need Sections Breaks.

In particular we need sections breaks so that we can have documents with both landscape and portrait sections, but all of Mark's suggestions would be very useful to us.

I have posted on this before and I have received many responses from other clients requesting this feature.

Please can you include this soon.

Thank you

Colin.
